Atlantis Studio is scenically located on the edge of beautiful Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville TN, just minutes away from downtown Nashville, TN. It offers gorgeous lake views and a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere away from the city noise and congestion.
Atlantis Studio is a cutting-edge pre-production, recording and mixing facility, designed to meet everybody's creative, personal and professional needs. Centerpiece of the studio is a world-class 48 channel SSL 4000 E/G console. Studio offers all major recording formats including 2" 24 track analog recorder, 32 tracks of Tascam DA-88, ProTools HD, Nuendo and all major recording and editing software. Studio offers a broad selection of microphones, outboard gear and midi equipment including a gorgeous Yamaha C-7 concert grand piano with disclavier and midi.
The founder and owner of the studio is producer/engineer Voytek Kochanek. Voytek began working in recording studios in 1988. After getting his recording education at Los Angeles Recording Workshop, he started out as assistant engineer at few major L.A. studios such as Track Record, Cherokee and Paramount Recording Studios. Within few months he moved on to become first engineer at Paramount Recording. While working at this studio Voytek began to develop his own engineering and production style. During about 4 years at Paramount he had the opportunity to work with many major recording artists such as Ice Cube, Ice-T, Club Nouveau, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Pharcyde, Brand New Heavies, Taj Mahal, LA Guns and many others. After leaving Paramount Recording Voytek began freelancing at many other L.A. studios such as Record Plant, Ocean Way, Cherokee Studios etc. working with more known LA artist: Peter Frampton, Philip Bailey, Patti Austin, Steve Vai and Ozzy Osbourne.
In 1996 Voytek moved to Nashville, TN for a much needed change of pace and family lifestyle. He began building his own recording facility: Atlantis Recording Studio. Voytek is making his name known in his new surrounding as a quality-oriented engineer. Also he is focusing more on finding and producing young Nashville talents, bringing his own distinctive studio style to Music City, USA.
